Joe Dupaquier receives 7th degree

 Saturday night during the Awards banquet at the World Championships Mr. Dupaquier was promoted to 7th degree black belt by his instructor, 9th degree - Dr David Jordan, and other members of the United States Karate Alliance.

· Starts at 6:15pm

· By invitation.

· Testing for yellow belt and higher

· Invitations will be handed out on the 23rd and 24th

· Spectators welcome.

All Yellow Stripe students and above are invited to participate this tournament. Families are welcome to meet us or follow us there. Individual students wishing to ride in the team van need to sign up by the Thursday before – space is limited. We chip in $10 each when riding in the team van.

MY SCHEDULE IS:

LEAVE:             Saturday, Aug 27, 6:00am - NO BREAKFAST STOP

RETURN:          Saturday, Aug 27, about 8 or 9pm

ENTRY FEE:    Tournament entry fee is $35, $5 extra for weapons 

                                    (pay at the tournament site,  $5 off with USKA membership card)
