Extra Training & Notes

Mon-Fri   April 21-25  OPEN ALL WEEK, regular schedule

Wednesday,     April 23:             Teen Intermediates need to attend today’s 7:00 or 8:00pm class, No Teen class (7-8) tomorrow.

Thursday,          April 24:           Monthly Belt Test, 6-8pm, testing by invitation, spectators welcome (teens will make up on Wednesday)

Friday                 April 25:             OPEN GYM, 6-8pm, $5

Saturday            April 26:           Tournament, Shreveport, LA

Thursday,          May 1:                Weapons Class (Bo), yellow Belts and Higher, 6-7pm

Friday                 May 2:                OPEN GYM, 6-8pm, $5

Saturday            May 3:                Tournament, Natchitoches, LA

Saturday, April 26th, Parkway High School

Chanbara @ 9am  ($10 extra)        Weapons @ 10 am          Forms and Sparring @ 11am

All Yellow Stripe students and above are invited to participate this tournament. Families are welcome to meet us or follow us there. Individual students wishing to ride in the team van need to sign up by next Thursday– space is limited. We chip in $10 each when riding in the team van, $15 for the hotel.

MY SCHEDULE IS:

TOURNAMENT SITE:   Parkway High School Gym: Bossier City, LA

LEAVE:              Saturday, 4:30am - NO BREAKFAST STOP

RETURN:           Sunday, about noon  (Hotel to be determined)

ENTRY FEE:      Tournament entry fee is $35 - pay at the tournament site   ($5 off with USKA membership card)

 

  Spring Karate Kamp

            April 21st -  25th

                9 am - 3 pm            $25 per day

 

                     Spots available Tuesday - Friday

 

                              Ages: 6-9 & 10-13

Activities Include:


 

·         One on One Self-Defense

·         Endurance Drills

·         Strength Training

·         Leadership Building

·         Self-Defense against knifes

·         Weapons training (bo / nunchaku)

·         Water Activities/Trailhead

·         Arts & Crafts, Games and more
