Thursday, May 13: Advanced Weapons Class (bo, tunfa, sai, nunchaku), Blue belts and higher, 6-7pm
Friday, May 14: OPEN GYM, 6-8pm, $5
Saturday, May 15: Annual Awards and Inner-School tournament
Saturday, May 15: BLACK BELT TEST, 16 test candidates from around the state (11 from MKTC) 1:30pm
Thursday, May 20: Weapons Class (Bo), yellow Belts and Higher, 6-7pm
Friday, May 21: OPEN GYM, 6-8pm, $5
Thursday, May 27: May Belt Test, 6-8pm, testing by invitation, spectators welcome
Friday, May 28: OPEN GYM, 6-8pm, $5
Saturday, May 15th 8am – 11am
Student of the Year Awards
Once again it is that time of year where we will honor and name the top students of the year. In each of the intermediate and advanced classes, each student will be voting in the following categories:
· Hardest Worker
· Most Improved
· Spirited Fighter
· Most Helpful
Inner-School Tournament ($10 per student)
Sparring Competition (MKTC Students only)
§ White Belt Divisions
§ Yellow Stripe Belt Divisions
§ Yellow Belt Divisions
§ Color Belt Divisions
All divisions will be broken down by age and experience, trophies for 1st – 4th plus participation trophies
Demonstration Team Competition
§ Black & Brown Belt Women’s Team vs Black & Brown Belt Men’s Team
Winner determined by a student vote
This competition is for ALL of our students. If you will not be able to participate, please let us know ASAP.

BLACK BELT TEST, Saturday May 15th, 1:30pm
Our facility will be hosting a regional black belt test with test candidates and examiners coming from as far away as Arizona and Colorado.
Spectators are welcome and all yellow belts and above are welcome to dress in and participate in the 2 on 1 and 3 on 1 sparring.
MKTC will have 11 students testing: Sean O'Mahoney for Pee Wee black, Timmy Fischer for Jr black
1st Black: Kasey Cox, Aaron Smith, Julie Cox, Jason Jeansonne, Martha Maher, Jonathan Davis.
Steve Fischer for 2nd black, Michael Joyner and James Lee for 3rd black.
