Extra Events
Thursday, May 15: Weapons Class (Bo), Yellow belts and above, 6-7pm
Friday, May 16: OPEN GYM, 6-8pm, $5
Saturday, May 17: Black and Brown Belt Workout, 8:30 – 10:00am
Thursday, May 22: Weapons Class (bo / nunchaku), Black and Browns, 6-7pm
Friday, May 23: OPEN GYM, 6-8pm, $5
Saturday, May 24: Inner-School Tournament & Awards Ceremony
Wednesday, May 28: Teen Intermediates need to attend today’s 7:00 or 8:00pm class, No Teen class (7-8) tomorrow.
Thursday, May 29: Monthly Belt Test, 6-8pm, testing by invitation, spectators welcome (teens will make up on Wednesday)
Friday, May 30: OPEN GYM, 6-8pm, $5
Advanced Training
Saturday, May 17th, 8:30-10:00am
Black and Brown Belts Only, Please Be On Time.
Advanced stances and techniques and possibly wrist locks, throws and ground fighting.
All brown and black belts are encouraged to attend. If you will not be able to attend please let sensei know.
Saturday May 24th 1:00 – 4:00
Student of the Year Awards
Once again it is that time of year where we will honor and name the top students of the year. In each of the intermediate and advanced classes, we have voted and will be awarding the following in each class:
· Hardest Worker · Most Improved
· Most Spirited · Most Helpful
Sparring Competition (MKTC Students only)
§ White Belt Divisions
§ Yellow Stripe Belt Divisions
§ Yellow Belt Divisions
§ Color Belt Divisions
$10 per student, all divisions will be broken down by age and experience, trophies for 1st – 4th plus participation trophies
This competition is for ALL of our students. If you will not be able to participate, please let us know ASAP.
You may sign up and pay at any time in the office.
