Next Belt Test – Wednesday, June 30th We have moved the monthly belt test, which is normally the last Thursday of the month to Wednesday June 30th, due to Sensei teaching a seminar with/for Master Jody Paul in Georgia June 24th – 27th. Karate Tournament July 8th – 11th: New Orleans, Hilton Riverside Hotel *** Headquarters will allow us to register here at the dojo through Tuesday, July 6th (cash only). All Students registered by July 6th will receive a FREE ticket to the Sunday Finals and be bracketed in the bottom half of the Forms Elimination. Schedule of events Thursday, July 8th 3:00pm, Continuous sparring competition ,same rules as our regular sparring but no stopping between points. A fun division since this is exactly how we spar in class. Friday, July 9th 10:00am, Koshiki Kumite 1:00 pm, Weapons competition 2:30 pm, Team Sparring competition, Chanbara (foam Samurai Sword) Saturday, July 10th 9:00am, Forms competition and Team (3 person) Forms competition (GO FOR IT !!) 6:30pm, National & State awards (Bushido Awards Ceremony)
